The player points accumulated when clearing bonuses can also be used to purchase bonuses, enter special tournaments, buy merchandise and purchase tournament tickets, which can be bought at a rate of up to $0.012 per point after joining the Green Room. To join the Green Room you must have made a deposit and have acquired at least one player point. Players can increase their per point value up to $0.0196 per point when buying tournament tickets after they have reached the "Gold Room" (see "Gold Room" below for additional details).

Poker Island is an "experience" whereby players that qualify are given a "trip of a lifetime" on a luxury villa on the tropical "Poker Island" where players can spend the entire summer as they battle it for a membership of team PokerRoom. Players can qualify online for this all expense paid trip with 4 other contestants. You will compete in a weekly tournament that will decide who will stay in the villa and who will go. A total of 2 people will be replaced each week and replaced with one contestant who has qualified online. The winner of the weekly "Eviction" tournament will be entered into the Poker Island final where the winner will win a Team PokerRoom membership. Poker Island runs from July 16th until October 30th.
Players can not buy-in to Poker Island qualifiers. Each week PokerRoom will offer a new method of qualification, which runs from June 16th until September 28th. PokerRoom will notify you by email as to whether you have qulaified for Poker Island. Your ticket to the online final will be automatically credited to your user account. Check the "Poker Island" promotion page for this week's qualification route.
BonusWhores Qualification:
From July 22nd to August 26th, all new players to sign-up and make a minimum $10 deposit at PokerRoom through BonusWhores will automatically be entered into a $5,000 Poker Island tournament to be held on August 31st at 2 PM ET. The winner of the tournament gets their share of a $5,000 prize pool plus an all expense paid trip to Poker Island.

You can use your player points to enter certain tournaments. The tournament tickets currently available are 5+0.50, 10+1, 20+2, 30+3, 50+4 and 100+8. The higher the status you are at, the better rate you will get on your tournament tickets. The chart to the right will show you the cost range for the tickets, overlay per point and how long players have to use the ticket after purchase. Your point balance will be reduced once you have purchased tickets.

Pokerroom is offering a $100,000 WSOPEuro Freeroll on the third Saturday of every month. Players must first qualify through daily qualifiers at 7:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:30 PM ET. Those qualifiers then feed into "Final Day 1" in the middle of each month. Once each final day gets to the final 20% of the players the tournament will pause and those players move on to the final day. Top place in the final receives a WSOPEuro package worth $26,500. Other top finishers will receive up to $75,000 in cash and prizes.
