Pokerium Overview
Pokerium is operated by 24hPAY Ltd, Malta. The operations of 24hPAY Ltd are regulated and licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta. They hold a license with the Entraction Poker Network and with the Boss Poker network. Pokerium currently does not accept clients from Malta and the United States.
Even though the Entraction Network does not allow U.S. players, poker rooms such as Pokerium, Ace Off Spades Poker and 66 Poker are recuperating fast due to a high influx of European players.
Pokerium Game Features
Pokerium Poker offers its clients a great variety of card games to choose from at their site. They include: Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo (8 or better), Soko, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo (8 or better), Five Card Draw, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, Americana, and Telesina. Their minimum buy in for Texas Hold ‘em and Omaha Fixed limit is € 0.25/0.50. They offer poker play with tables that range anywhere from 2-10 people.
Pokerium offers anywhere from one to three poker tournaments every fifteen minutes in their tournament lobby. They have No Limit Hold ‘em going on more than any other tournament type. On the left side of the screen in the tournament lobby they have links to the various tournament schedules, top lists, rules, and recent winners. They also list the top ten winners of the last twenty four hours as well as the Bad Beat Jackpot amount.
Pokerium Software Features
Pokerium has many different special features on their website and for the upcoming year 2008. Starting December 1st they began offering a 100-140% Reload Bonus where they will give you bonuses of up to 700 Euros. They also now have a Refer-a-Friend bonus allowing the original client a chance to win up to 50 Euros and 25 Euros extra for your friend. Pokerium also offers several benefits for their VIP clients including: different rake policies, Cashback Gold on Rake-back of up to 60% and Cashback Bonuses.
The most exciting offer that they have for the upcoming year is the Freezout Challenge 2008. Every player who will earn at least 50000 VIP points between September 1st and December 31st 2007 will gain a seat to the Helsinki Freezout main event for free. There is no need to save the VIP points, you can just use them for buy-ins to other tournaments. The real value of this prize is roughly 2500 Euros.
Pokerium Support
If you are a poker player who ends up needing a lot of quick customer service, this is probably not the site for you. The only customer care service that they offer is one email address that they say is supported 24 hours a day. There is absolutely no telephone number to be found anywhere. In fact, there isn’t even a link to customer service, the only place where the support email is found is on the hard to find About Us page. If email doesn’t work, then you can always try and contact them through snail mail, but good luck trying to get a quick response that way.
