Poker Host Game Features
The number of different games offered at Poker Host is great. They include the standards such as Limit Hold'em, No Limit Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, along with harder to find 5 Card Draw and 5 Card Stud games. Players can usually find Limit Hold'em action below 1/2 and No Limit Hold'em action at all limits, although much of it is short handed. The only other game type with frequent action is shorthanded Pot Limit Omaha. Most other games tend to have limited availability except at the micro limit levels.
For Hold'em and Omaha games, Poker Host tables have a maximum of 10 or 6 seats. Heads-up tables are also available. For Stud games, tables with 8, 6 and 2 seats are available. All Draw games comprise of 5 seats.
Poker Host has a wide array of Sit-N-Gos and Multi Table Tournaments accessible. Buy-ins for the SNGs range from $0.09 all the way up to $1,000, however these games are relatively difficult to find action. The amount of seats available at these SNG tables range from three to thirty- depending on the buy-in amount. The Microgaming Network has some appealing software features. For example, players have the ability to display a four color deck, which aids players in distinguishing the cards. If playing multiple tables is desired, it is suggested that along with the four color deck players take advantage of the "mini-view" feature where 9 tables can be played without overlap on a monitor that uses 1600x1200 resolution. Even 4 tables can be displayed without overlap on a monitor with a screen display as small as 1024x768.
From a novelty standpoint, they also offer an option for players to rabbit-hunt cards to see what the last one or two cards would have been. Other features of the software include being able to select your language, view hand history and the ability to change your seat-view perspective.

Poker Host has a support department that is available 24 hours a day, including a live chat service and a 1-800 number where "agents are ready at any time if you have promotions, tournaments, deposits or any general poker question." The Poker Host website also contains a short FAQ that answers common questions about topics such as promotions, game play, bonuses and tournaments.
