PKR Overview
PKR is an innovative poker room that is not part of any network. PKR Game Features
The game selection of PKR includes Limit, No Limit and Pot Limit Texas Hold’em and Omaha. The stakes for the Limit games range from ¢5/¢10 up to $10/$20 while the No Limit stakes are from ¢2/¢4 up to $5/$10. Full, shorthanded and heads-up table formats are available. PKR runs weekly guaranteed tournaments, multi-table, Sit-and-go’s, satellites and freerolls. Speed and turbo tournaments are also available.
Player concentration at the multi-table and Sit-and-go tournaments is not heavy, many people register to the play money tournaments but not to the real money events. The Sit-and-go traffic flow is mostly at the games with the lower stakes. The PKR guaranteed tournaments “come with a range of buy-ins to suit every budget.” The prize pools for the daily guaranteed tournaments range from $200 up to $3,000. There’s also a $50,000 guaranteed tournament. The PKR freerolls are offered in large multi-table events, including the daily $50 freerolls and the $1,000 and $2,500 premium freerolls.
PKR Software Features
The PKR software incorporates realistic 3D graphics and incredible settings such as Monte Carlo, Home Game, Basement Bar, Paradise Island, Vegas High Roller, Vegas, Cruise Ship, the Met Bar and the PKR TV Studio. The fully-customizable characters and the innovative emote controls are truly unique. The limitless customization options allow you to choose what your character wears, including sunglasses, tattoos, body piercings, hats, shoes, headphones, t-shirts, and more. The PKR points you earn allow you to obtain more clothing and accessories. The sounds and the table view are also customizable.
The Emote Control system of PKR allows you to interact with other players expressing your mood by chatting and using body language, allowing you to get reads and throw your opponents off. The functionality of this software provides an original playing experience; multi-table play is supported at up to four tables at a time, the mini-view feature facilitates viewing three tables together in the same window. The lobby provides complete information such as hands played per hour, average pot size and viewed-flop percentage. Hand histories are available at the table.
PKR Support
PKR offers “fast, friendly and efficient” customer support twenty four hours a day, seven days a week via telephone, e-mail and chat. The PKR website offers an interactive Game FAQ section that covers topics such as How to chat to other players and how to view the hand histories. A Technical FAQ is also available to answer any question regarding computer glitches.
