Take A Free Ride (Commission Free Poker): |
Overlay: Up to 33% Rakeback |
|
Party Poker is offering hardcore players the chance to earn up to 80 hours of "commission free" poker until August 2nd at 11:59 PM ET. To qualify you must play over 160 hours within a 30 day period (5.33 hours per day). Once you have met this requirement, you will pay no table charges or fees for the remainder of that 30 day period.
Below is a chart that represents the rakeback percentage you can expect when playing certain number of hours. Anything above 240 provides no benefit unless you are adding additional tables to bump up your hourly rake levels. Rakeback % will decrease the more you play.
| Hours Played | 160 | 180 | 200 | 220 | 240 | 260 | 300 | Rakeback %
| 0% | 11% | 20% | 27% | 33% | 31% | 27% |
Other terms:

--player only needs to opt in once
--players may start a new 30 day period when they have either played the maximum number commission-free hours or reached the end of their 30 day period.
--players can restart a new period at any time
--only the first 16 hours played in each day will be counted toward the target and comission free hours.
--only hours will be counted, so if a player multi-tables extra time will not be counted
--the commission free portion of this promotion will be awarded within 10 days after a player has reached the maximum number of hours or when they reach the end of a 30 day period.
--the refund payment is based on the average comission on play over the entire period of 30 days and a refund payment is made on the portion over 160 hours up to 240 hours.

Party Points/Party Point Levels |
Overlay: $0.01 per point |
|
The Party Points earned for ring game and tournament play is also central to the loyalty scheme from Party Poker. Party Poker has five levels to their loyalty program, which players can climb by earning Party Points . Within the 5 main levels are sub levels. The higher status you achieve, the faster you will earn additional points through the multiplier system.
Below is the number of Loyalty Points/Party Points needed to advance:
| Loyalty Points | Level | Multiplier | | 100,000+ | Deuce 4 | 7.5x | | 50,000 | Deuce 3 | 6x | | 30,000 | Deuce 2 | 5.5x | | 20,000 | Deuce 1 | 5x | | 15,000 | Ace 4 | 4.6x | | 11,000 | Ace 3 | 4.4x | | 8,000 | Ace 2 | 4.2x | | 6,000 | Ace 1 | 4x | | 5,000 | King 4 | 3.6x | | 4,000 | King 3 | 3.4x | | 3,000 | King 2 | 3.2x | | 2,000 | King 1 | 3x | | 1,200 | Queen 4 | 2.6x | | 600 | Queen 3 | 2.4x | | 300 | Queen 2 | 2.2x | | 150 | Queen 1 | 2x | | 80 | Jack 4 | 1.6x | | 35 | Jack 3 | 1.4x | | 10 | Jack 2 | 1.2x | | 0 | Jack 1 | 1x |
Basic Example:
Players who achieve the Queen status will earn points at 2x the normal rate. Only the standard points will be considered in moving up levels (the multiplied points will not count for this purpose). Party refers to the extra points earned as part of the status as "multipler points" which are not to be confused with points that are earned towards the bonus-- bonuses are cleared with base points (otherwise known as Party Points/Reward Points).
Example: If a Queen status player earns 11 standard points after 20 raked hands, 11 points would be applied to any bonus the player is working off and to their pursuit of maintaining Queen status or moving up to a higher status. The effect of the multiplier would increase the amount of points to 22, but they would only be able to used for the other purposes.
Party Points:
Players generate Party Points according to the chart at the bottom of this writeup. Players earn one "Loyalty Point" everytime they generate a Party Point. The number of Loyalty Points you hold will determine your Loyalty Level and your Loyalty Multiplier. Where the number of Loyalty Points held by you is less than the greatest number of Loyalty Points ever held by you then, until such time as you reach your Highest Point again, you will earn 2 Loyalty Points for every PartyPoint you generate.
Party Poker says that it's easy to advance levels. A weekly goal will be set based on your previous play and if you pick up enough points you will increase your player level.
Reward Points/Vested Reward Points:
Then there are reward points. You will generate one Unvested Reward Point every time you generate PartyPoint. All Unvested Reward Points generated in a week will be released for potential collection over the subsequent ten week period, at a rate of 10% per Week (‘Vested Reward Points’). Therefore, in each week, the Vested Reward Points available for Collection, will equal 10% of the PartyPoints generated by you in the previous ten Week period. In order to Collect the Vested Reward Points for a given week, you must generate the same number of PartyPoints during that Week as the number of Vested Reward Points available for Collection that Week. This is called your ‘Weekly Goal’. Because your Weekly Goal is the same as your available Vested Reward Points in any given Week, it represents your average play over the previous ten Weeks.
If you do not meet your Weekly Goal, but you generate 50% or more of the required PartyPoints that Week, then you will still Collect 50% of the available Vested Reward Points. However, if you generate less than 50% of the PartyPoints required for the Weekly Goal, then you will not Collect any Vested Rewards Points that Week and those Points will be lost. The value of your Collected Reward Points will be multiplied by your current Loyalty Multiplier at the time of redemption.
Summary:
--If you hit less than 50% of your weekly target, your multiplier points will not be awarded.
--If you hit 50%-100% of your weekly target, your multiplier points will be awarded at 50% of your goal amount and you will maintain your current level.
--If you achieve 100% or more of your target, your multiplier points will be awarded at 100% of your goal amount and you will now need to earn 110% of your previous goal in the following week. Remember even though your goal may be raised, you still only need to achieve 50% of that goal to get some points.
Inactivity/Vacation
If you fail to earn a Party Point in either week of a consecutive two week period, then you will be deemed inactive for this promotion. Once you are inactive, you will drop one Loyalty Level and your Loyalty Points will be reducedso that you will be one Loyalty Point away from attaining your previous Loyalty Level. You will continue to drop Loyalty Levels in this way for each additional two weeks of inactivity. Jack Level one players will have 20% of their Collected Reward Points removed for each two weeks of inactivity. You will stop being inactive once you have earned one PartyPoint in any week.
Players may get around this inactity period by taking "vacation" which is either two 2 week periods or one 4 week period. To do so, you must select the "Vacation" option.
Benefits:
These Party Points can be used to redeem for cash, for entry into specific tournaments, gift certificates and to take advantage of various promotions exclusive to PartyPoints program members. Lastly, Party Points can be used to play in freeroll tournaments, which have various overlay amounts. The points earned will be available to players for a period of 180 days after they have been earned.

Party Poker has implemented a method of awarding Party Points. Points in a incremental grading system where the higher the table stakes, the more points you will earn. The points will now be awarded as per the tables at the right.
*PartyPoints will be earned for every 20 raked hands played on these tables in a day. For example, 3.5 Party Poker points will be earned for every 20 raked hands at 1/2 LHE. Party Points are earned at a rate of 2 points per $1 in fees paid.
The value of a point is worth $0.01 when redeeming the points for cash. Players must have a minimum of 2,500 points to be able to redeem your points for cash. Bad Beat Jackpot |
Overlay: Variable |
|
Sit down at a Bad Beat Jackpot table at Party Poker and if the losing hand is four of a kind (8's) or better, your table wins the jackpot.
For every raked hand played on Party Poker's Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot tables, a jackpot contribution of $0.50 will be collected from the pot. That way, every time a hand is raked on one of Party Poker's many jackpot tables, the jackpot increases.
Because of the way the Party BBJ is setup, the jackpot has to be at levels listed to the right, to be considered +EV.
Everytime the jackpot is hit, 70% of the jackpot will be distributed and 20% used as a seed amount for the next jackpot (the remaining 10% is used as a seed for the next jackpot). Of the distributed amount, 50% goes to the loser of the hand, 25% to the winner, and the remaining 25% go to the rest of the players seated at the table. Other conditions apply.
On January 14th 2005, a Bad Beat Jackpot of $739,622 was hit, which Party Poker claims was the highest in the history of poker.
