Fair Poker Overview
Fair Poker is one of the skins on the iPoker network along with Titan Poker, Noble Poker, CarlosPoker and Golden Palace Poker. This poker room does not accept U.S. players but the volume of player traffic remains high. The mission statement of this poker site says that Fair Poker is “setting the standard in the online poker world” and that there’s a seat for beginners and pros to “play fairly in high standards and top levels.”
Even though the iPoker network does not allow U.S. players, poker rooms such as VC Poker, Kiwi Poker and Chili Poker are recuperating fast due to a high influx of European players.
Fair Poker Game Features
The game variety of this poker site includes Texas Hold’em, Seven Card Stud, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. In the Fixed Limit games the stakes vary from ¢50/$1 to $30/$60. The stakes for the Pot Limit and Limit games are from ¢10/¢20 up to $50/$100. The blinds for the Pot Limit and No Limit Texas Hold’em games are up to $10/$20. Additional games are available, including Poker Three, Deuces Wild, Blackjack and Aces and Faces. At Fair Poker the tables sit a maximum of 10 players; heads-up play is available as well as shorthanded games.
The tournaments are well-structured, Sit-and-Go’s, heads-up, fixed-schedule multi-table tournaments and guaranteed tournaments are offered. The guaranteed tournaments include a monthly $100,000 GP tournament and a $25,000 weekly tournament. The buy-in for these events is of $200 + $15. The buy-in for the Sit-and-Go satellites is of $21.5 + $2. Daily freerolls include a $200 freeroll with $2 rebuys, a $100 freeroll and a $300 freeroll. There’s also a new weekly $1,500 freeroll tournament. At Fair Poker the tournaments run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, being “managed and monitored professionally from start to finish, with 24 hour supervision, constant on line support and groundbreaking anti-collusion systems” in order to protect the players.
Fair Poker Software Features
The Fair Poker software is playable; the lobby is easy-to-navigate, it displays the lists of games, tournaments, players, and tables, as well as links to the Poker Cashier, and Help and Contact Information. The tables contain basic information such as the stakes used, the numbers of players currently playing, the average pot per game for the last 50 hands, the percentage of players who started the hand and saw the flop and the number of dealt hands per hour.
Multi-table is supported at up to eight tables at a time; Fair Poker is decently suited for multi-table play, a mini-view feature is available. Player notes are available too. This software has spectacular graphics, 3-D avatars are available. The green table felt is easy on the eyes and gives a nice look and feel to the site. The special features of the Fair Poker software include the ability to save the hand history on your computer, which allows you to have a deeper analysis.
