Bonus Points:

The Bonus Points earned at Betway Poker can be used to enter guaranteed tournaments at a rate of 300 BP per $1. However, players are better served using their points to buy cash bonuses at a rate of up to $0.02 per point (see "Bonuses" tab for additional details).

WSOP Race 2008:

Betway Poker is offering a promotion in which they will be awarding entry into WSOP satellite events to top Bonus Point earners, in which WSOP prizes will be given away including a Main Event package for top prize in a June 3rd final. The top twenty players who earn most Bonus Points during February, March, April & May will all win WSOP Bonus Chips. The top ten from each month will play a monthly final and the top 20 will bring their Bonus Chips to the WSOP Race Grand Final.

Monthly Finals, Mars 4th, April 2nd, May 6th.

Top 10 Bonus Points earners during February, March, April (each month) will be invited to a WSOP Race Monthly Final. This will be played as a single table tournament. The 10 Players involved will bring their WSOP Bonus Chips won during that month to the table. So you could potentially start with 1500 chips.

WSOP RACE GRAND FINAL - June 3rd

All players that have placed Top 20, any month between Feb-May, will be invited to the Grand Final, where a WSOP Main Event Prize Package will be awarded. Players will bring all their Bonus Chips that they have won during this period. So you could potentially start with a huge advantage of up to 4000 chips.

Multi-Table Tournament:

1000 starting chips + all WSOP Bonus Chips earned between Feb-May
1st Place: WSOP Main Event Package worth $15000
2nd Place: 5000 WSOP Dollars
3rd Place: 3000 WSOP Dollars
4th Place: 1000 WSOP Dollars

WSOP Dollars

The objective with the WSOP Dollars is to increase your WSOP bankroll. The WSOP Dollars should primarily be used for travel or buy-in in conjunction with WSOP 2008 in Las Vegas. The only exception is that the 1st prize package (the WSOP Dollars) which can be exchanged to cash . This exchange will not be done before the WSOP Race Grand Final has been played.

WSOP Chips:

Players will be awarded extra chips at the monthly and grand final events based on their rank on the Bonus Points Race Leaderboard for the month.

Bad Beat Jackpot:

Play at a Texas Hold'em BBJ table and have four of a kind of better lose (four eights or higher) and you will be eligible for the Bad Beat Jackpot prize (see other criteria below). Once the rake has reached $1.00, an additional $0.50 is taken for the Bad Beat Progressive.

70% is distributed as winnings:

50% to the losing hand, the Bad Beat
25% to the winner of the hand
25% evenly split between the other Players who actively participated in the hand

20% is used to seed the next Jackpot
10% is used for administration
