Showdown Survivor: |
Overlay: None Available |
The Showdown Survivor is offered periodically by 888.com (see the Pacific Poker or LuckyAcePoker.com website under "Players Club" for specific dates. To be eligible you must make a deposit of $50 or more during the event.
The Showdown Survivor Series rewards bad play. For every showdown you see, you get a point. (2 points in Omaha and stud.) The players with the most points will be awarded cash prizes. The minimum limit for this is $.50-$1.00. Obviously, if you play to get to a lot of showdowns, you will likely lose more than $100. The top 50 get at least $25, 1st place - $200, 2nd-4th $150, 5th-10th- $75, 11th-26th- $50 and the rest receive $25. It may be very profitable to play your normal tight aggressive game during these times, but playing for the showdown promo is probably a losing proposition. |

Clear Rates Disclaimer:
We have generated our clear rates by using Party Poker hand histories, and running them through each site's rake structure. Obviously, game conditions (looseness, aggression, and game speed) will be different from site to site, so these numbers may vary from what is actually experienced. |
